National College Health Assessment (NCHA) 2026

Check your email for the survey link on Wednesday, April 15th!

We need your participation!

The National College Health Assessment (NCHA) will be live from Wednesday, April 15th to Wednesday, April 29th. You'll get your survey link on Wednesday, April 15th. The subject line will read: "Your Voice on Well-Being at Caltech: Represent Caltech in the 2026 National College Health Assessment."

The National College Health Assessment (NCHA) is a national survey run by the American College Health Association (ACHA), an organization that Caltech is part of. It gives students a chance to share their experiences, habits, and perspectives related to health and well-being. The results help campuses better understand what students need and improve programs, services, and support. To learn more about the NCHA and the work of ACHA, visit: https://www.acha.org/ncha/

Every two years, Student Wellness Services invites all currently enrolled Caltech students 18 and older to take the National College Health Assessment. It's a confidential national survey that asks about health behaviors such as exercise, sleep, alcohol use, mental health, and more. You should be done in less than 30 minutes.

The NCHA is Wellness Services' single most useful way to gauge how our students are doing overall in terms of their physical and emotional health, and to see how we compare to other universities. Remember, your responses are confidential, and everyone who completes the NCHA will be entered into a drawing for $1,000 worth of giveaways just for Caltech students! Keep your eyes open on Wednesday the 15th!
