Potential Workplace Exposures
In accordance with the Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA) guidelines, Caltech reports the date and location of a potential "cluster" of COVID-19 cases in the workplace. A cluster is defined by the Pasadena Public Health Department as "three or more epidemiologically linked cases," which for the purposes of campus reporting and contact tracing includes three or more Caltech community members (including students and employees) having reported being in a common worksite location during their infectious period.
