Cold Care Kits

June 22, 2022

Feeling under the weather? Stop by a Cold Care Crate!

These Cold Care Crates are self-service: each containing multiple cold care kits. Inside each ziplock baggie kit, is our cold care tips info sheet, as well as a small supply of Tylenol, Motrin, Sudafed, and cough drops for students feeling a little under the weather and not able to venture out to Red Door or a pharmacy.

There is also a limited supply of personal thermometers for those students who feel sick enough they're debating going out to see Urgent Care. The thermometers should be kept for continued personal use, but shouldn't be shared, given to someone else, or returned to the box. A fever would be an oral temperature of 100.4 or higher, and if it doesn't resolve with Tylenol, or after 1 week, should prompt an in-person visit to an urgent care.
