Apply to the Peer Advocate Program

We are officially opening up the application process for the second year of the Peer Advocate Program. The application will be open to current frosh, sophomores, and juniors. We are limiting the term of the official role for 1 year after which time you can remain available to your peers for support.  This will allow others who may be interested in serving as a PA to be involved in the program. In the chance we have fewer numbers of PAs for certain houses, we will request some of the PAs from the previous year to return.

PA Selection

The application, when made available, will be due Tuesday December 10, 2019 at 8AM at noon, after which the selection process will begin. Once applications have been received, the search committee will then review the applications and obtain feedback from the house and references. Interviews will occur during the last week of January 22, 2020 through February 4, 2020. After interviews, the interview panel, specific to each community, will decide on those chosen to serve as a Peer Advocate for their respective buildings and offers will be made by Spring term registration so that those selected can register for the Spring 2019 Peer Advocate Course.

Please review the Job Description, Course Description, and FAQ documents on the Peer Advocate website ( to answer any questions you may have prior to and during the application process. We will also hold an information session on Monday, November 11, 2019 at noon in Avery Library.
