Student Advocate Programs

What are Student Advocate Programs?

The Health and Peer Advocate programs educate students on how to identify and assist other students for physical health or mental health needs. Students must apply to be considered for the program.

Health Advocate Training:

  • First Aid
  • CPR/AED
  • Crisis Training

Location:
Wellness Services Conference Room
1239 Arden Rd. Pasadena, CA 91125

Class Hours:
Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 7:00-10:00pm
No classes on Institute Holidays

Peer Advocate Training:
  • Learning the components of a counsel
  • Understanding the common university psychological struggles
  • Active practice through role play
  • On-going consultation with program advisors

Watson Labs Room 104 (Building 96)
